Beechwood is the wood from the beech tree that is mostly grown in Europe
It is ethically sourced from the Austrian Alps and used as a key component in the innovation of our fabrics.
At Sensing our process of developing the fibre is consciously controlled and involves the use of Edelweiss® technology, which helps in recovery of a large part of the waste material.
Beechwood fibre highlights
- Sweat wicking, resistant yet extremely buttery soft.
- Beechwood regenerates alone, hence it needs no pesticides
/fertilisers to grow. It is a clean component for fabric. - Uses 20 times less water than normal cotton.
- Decomposes in soil within 2-3 months.
